- Albendazole inhibit the synthesis of microtubule by binding to beta tubulin of parasite
- These microtubules are essential for several metabolic processes in the parasite
- Albendazole also inhibit glucose uptake in the parasite thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die
- Ivermectin acts on the outer membrane of the parasite, causing paralysis and death of the parasite.
